What is the role of ozone generators in the factory

Ozone is recognized worldwide as a broad-spectrum and highly effective sterilization disinfectant. Air or oxygen is used as raw materials and high-frequency and high-voltage discharges are used to produce ozone. Ozone has one more active oxygen atom than oxygen molecules, ozone, which is particularly chemically active and is a strong oxidizing agent that can quickly kill bacteria in the air at a certain concentration. There is no toxic residue, no secondary pollution will be formed, and it is known as "the cleanest oxidant and disinfectant".

An ozone generator is a device used to produce ozone. Ozone is easy to decompose and cannot be stored, so it needs to be prepared and used on site (but in special cases, it can be stored for a short time), and ozone generators are required wherever ozone can be used. Ozone generators are widely used in tap water, sewage, industrial oxidation, space sterilization and other fields.

The selection of ozone generator is very important, and the selection should be carried out from the following aspects:

Determine the type of ozone generator, i.e., ozone production

Procurement of ozone generatorsThe first thing to determine is its use,

whether it is used for air sterilization and deodorization or water treatment. For air treatment, you can choose the low-concentration economical open ozone generator, which includes two types of air source open and non-air source open,preferably with air source. This type of ozone generator has a simple structure and low price, but the temperature and humidity affect the amount of ozone generated during operation. The above-mentioned open ozone generator is the simplest ozone device, and the high-concentration ozone generator should also be selected for air treatment in places with high requirements. When air is treated, it is put according to the standard of 20-50mg/m3, and the food and drug industry selects the high value. The total amount of ozone used (i.e. ozone generator out-put) can be obtained by converting the size of the root space. When used for water treatment, a high-concentration ozone generator must be purchased (ozone concentration greater than 12mg/L), and low-concentration ozone treatment water is ineffective. High concentration ozone generatorlt is equipped with air source and air treatment device and ozone generator as standard. The small one can be designed as an all-in-one model, with an output of 5-200g/h, and the large and medium-sized ozone generators basically exist in the form of units.

The quality of ozone generator can be identified from many aspects, such as manufacturing materials, system configuration, cooling mode, working frequency, control mode, ozone concentration, gas source and power consumption index. A high-quality ozone generator should be made of high-dielectric materials, standard configuration (including air source and purification device), dual electrode cooling, high-frequency drive, intelligent control, high ozone concentration output, low power consumption and low air consumption.

Price

From design to configuration and manufacturing materials are carried out according to their standards, the cost is much higher than that of low-grade generators and low-configuration generators. However, the performance of high-quality ozone generators is very stable, and ozone concentration and production are not affected by environmental factors. However, the low-configuration ozone generator is greatly affected by the environment when working, and the increase of temperature and humidity can greatly reduce the ozone production and concentration, which affects the treatment effect. When purchasing, a comprehensive evaluation should be made on its price and performance.

Prevent misunderstandings

A. Understand whether the ozone generator contains a gas source, and the cost of the generator with and without the air source is very different. If you purchase an ozone generator without a source of air through price advantage, you will also need to provide your own air source and may end up spending more money.

B. Understand the structural form of the generator, whether it can be operated continuously, ozone output concentration and other indicators. For example, if an ozone generator is needed for water purification, it will not be possible to use an open ozone generator if it is mistakenly selected.

C. Confirm whether the rated output of the ozone generator is marked with an air source or an oxygen source. Because the ozone generator produces twice as much ozone when using an oxygen source as it does when using an air source, the difference in cost between the two is nearly double. When purchasing an ozone generator, the supply and demand sides should communicate in an all-round way to avoid misunderstandings, and do not use price as the main reference to measure the ozone generator

Standby

For places where continuous work is not allowed to be stopped, there should be a backup machine when purchasing an ozone generator. According to the principle of dual-use and one backup, one use and one backup. The standby unit is mainly used alternately during equipment maintenance or repair to avoid downtime and maintenance affecting normal production.
